Thank goodness for autosave!

Big boy breakfast of peaches! Yummy Yummy peaches!

Always facinated by the bottle of bubble solution.

This is my favorite picture, I love the whimsical bubbles and his facial expressions are priceless.

This post was written about 2 weeks ago, and never got posted...

Ok, so I hear that A LOT of people are disappointed in my lack of posting. At the family reunion (Gerwatowski side) I promised I would post that week, that was on August 14th. Next, I ran into a dear friend of mine, Pam, on September 19th and promised her that I would post within a week. Well, it's 2 weeks later and I am now just getting around to posting something. I'm sorry, I have no defense. Guilty as charged! As I am posting my pictures though, I am reminded of the frustration I feel...the pictures I have picked are not in order. They need to be in order to tell the story properly. The program will not allow me to cut and paste. As I am typing this I realized that my narration is at the end of the post, not the beginning and when I tried to change it, I deleted everything! Thank goodness for auto-save!!!!
Hopefully you enjoy these pictures...
Pretty much every day this summer we went outside and regardless of what we were doing we
always had the Hurricane Bubble machine on.

Makeup Day 2011

I did it! It only took 1 hour to upload these pictures. Next time we get together, I need a blog lesson.

I hope this is the start of a new tradition! I had such a blast doing everyone's makeup. It's so different than working at Sephora, I rarely ever get to experiment and take my time!

I kinda dropped the ball with Mo, we forgot to get a before picture and the lighting for this one and only picture isn't the greatest! Sorry Mo, but I loved the colors on you and I loved that you had Crystal take such detailed notes. It's hard to tell, but I used a mix of plums on her eyes and cheeks to go with her favorite go-to lipcolor.

This is Nics before pic...so beautiful.

For Nic I wanted to bring out the green in her eyes so I used some warm browns with a pop of green. I love how her skin is just glowing.

I am so glad Mom participated! We have such a beautiful family!

This is Mom's before picture...

For Mom, I used peachy brown tones to warm and brighten! Just look at that smile!

Crystal wanted to learn a more sultry look, so I did a smokey eye...

No makeup for Ty, but he did cooperate by taking a 2-hour nap during the fun!

Sorry this is so short, I heard Mohammed just likes to look at the pictures anyway. Next time we'll have to video tape the process! Seriously! Love to all.

Surprise

Ha! So I thought I posted this one already. Opps. These are the pictures from Brad's fabulous surprise 30th birthday party! Which was almost a disaster because of an uncooperative birthday boy...

I made arrangements with Brad's brother Justin and Crystal (his girlfriend) to keep Brad occupied while I set up for the party (he thought I was working). Easier said than done! People weren't supposed to arrive until 12:30 and at 11:00 a.m. I start getting texts from Justin saying that they are having trouble keeping him there. Uh-oh! The rouse to get him there was to help move a couch, which takes 10 minutes tops. So the idea was that they could play video games...that. was. the. idea.

But Brad wanted to get chores done, "I need to change my oil," "I need to get Ty home so he can eat". So to make a long story short we recruited Mom and Dad and they were able to entice Brad with "swirl cake"! For those of you not familiar with "swirl cake" it is Brad's favorite and a family recipe that I can never get quite right.

So I had to call everyone on the guest list and encourage them to get a move on and arrive ASAP. It all worked out in the end, everyone showed up in time for the surprise (except Mom and Dad)! It was so much fun just to see the priceless look on his face...

Here we go again!

Here we go again! Ty is so amazing, being a mommy is so much fun and a lot of work, but fun work. I was worried that I didn't have enough pictures to start blogging again but when I checked I've taken over 400 pictures since my last posting. Ha! I don't remember taking that many photos. Here are a few pics to get the ball rolling.

Fun with Daddy!

Just hanging out...this was our routine during the days that I had to go to my internship. It was so cute, he'd hide under my clothes and just laugh as they swept across his face. This lasted for awhile, until he discovered that he could pull the clothes off the hanger. He thought that was fun too.

Look closely...

Lara and Tyler hanging out on Thanksgiving. She is so good with him, so sweet and gentle. I love how he's just checking her out...

I will post again soon. Small doses work the best for me. I have lots to catch you up on!

XOXO
